Larry graduated from Crossett Hight School in 1963 and attended Harding University, where he studied Industrial relations and played football for 3 years. He then attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1969 and graduated with a BSE in education. He began his teaching career at Quachita Christian School in Monroe Louisiana where he taught school and coached various sports as well as a stint at Harding Academy in Memphis Tennessee. Larry began his preaching career in 1966, serving a number of congregations in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Arkansas. He spent ten years in Dallas TX and ten years in Memphis Tennessee but now calls Johnson his home. He has been our pulpit Minister for the last 10 years after moving here from Hope Arkansas.Larry and Pat have been married for 51 years with 4 grown children, nine grand children, and four great grandchildren.
